Pirate Tales

This summer, read your way to a Pirates home game at PNC Park!*

Now through Monday, August 25, 2019, youth (ages 4-18) can read their way to a Pirates home game at PNC Park!

All you need to do is read one book per week! Select a grade-level book, and once you finish an entire book, complete the Pirates Tales Entry Form, and submit it .

If you’ve already registered you can continue to read and earn prizes!!

As you read more books, you will progress around the bases, with the ultimate goal of hitting a Grand Slam!**

  • SINGLE – Read 5 Books (Pirates baseball bat pen)
  • DOUBLE – Read 10 Books (Pirates baseball wristband)
  • TRIPLE – Read 15 Books (Pirates baseball socks)
  • HOME RUN – Read 20 Books (Pirates baseball cap & tickets)
  • GRAND SLAM – Read 21 Books or more (Earn an entry to win an invitation to Pirates Tales Day at PNC Park/Date: TBD)

The library that has the most Pirates Tales participants will win a pizza party with the Pirate Parrot!
