Contacting us while we’re closed:
You may contact the library via social media or email: southfayette@einetwork.net.
Library staff will not be in the building during the closure, and our phone messages will not be regularly monitored.
Our community’s health is our number one priority.
These safety measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution, consistent with national public health recommendations. We appreciate our patrons’ patience and understanding.
Please note that the Library is unable to sanitize every single item that is checked out from us (books, movies, etc.), and as such, patrons are advised to wash their hands after handling materials and avoid touching their faces.
The World Health Organization has reported that there is conflicting evidence of how long the virus may persist on surfaces, especially under varying conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).
The Library will continue to monitor the news and recommendations of health officials and will take additional steps as needed.
We would strongly encourage all customers who are able to access information via our digital library. Access eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks through OverDrive. Access digital video, music, eBooks, comics, and audiobooks through Hoopla and use online resources through the county-wide eLibrary website.
